NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has stated that he believes San Antonio Spurs players Stephon Castle and Dylan Harper have the potential to become the league's next dominant duo, comparing them to the iconic Golden State Warriors pairing of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

"If I’m a guard in the NBA, I do not want to see them for what’s the next ten years," Barkley said on "The Bill Simmons Podcast." "They’re gonna be the new Steph and Klay."

Curry and Thompson, known as "The Splash Brothers," were one of the most prolific shooting tandems in NBA history, leading the league in three-pointers made nine times. Curry, a two-time MVP, has led the league in threes eight times, while Thompson led the league in the 2022-2023 season with 301 made three-pointers. Together, they reached six NBA Finals, winning four championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2022.

Thompson's role with the Warriors shifted in the 2023-2024 season, averaging 38.7% from three-point range, leading him to come off the bench. Following the season, Thompson signed with the Dallas Mavericks and most recently with the Miami Heat. Curry, at 38 years old, is preparing for his 18th season and aims for his fifth NBA title.

When playing together, Castle has averaged 16.8 points, 7.1 assists, and 5.3 rebounds per game, while Harper has contributed 11.8 points, 3.9 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. Both Castle and Harper are under 22 years old and recently reached the NBA Finals, where they lost to the New York Knicks.
