Arsenal's teenage sensation Max Dowman, 16, has collected his GCSE results and will now transition to a full-time professional football career. The record-breaking young forward is leaving Brentwood School in Essex to focus solely on his burgeoning career with the Premier League club.

Dowman, already the Premier League's youngest goalscorer, balanced his academic commitments with his footballing duties last season. He scored against Everton at the Emirates Stadium in March, contributing to Arsenal's title win, and received his winners' medal in May. Despite being too young to share a dressing room with senior teammates under current safeguarding regulations, he is anticipated to play an increased role for Arsenal as they prepare to defend their league title.

Dowman expressed gratitude towards Brentwood School for its support during his time there. "Although my journey at the school is ending earlier than expected as I pursue my football career, I will always be incredibly grateful for the support that the school and the staff have given me," he stated. He also highlighted the importance of the lessons learned both on and off the pitch, thanking specific staff members for their encouragement.

Brentwood School, which counts notable alumni such as Frank Lampard and Douglas Adams, reported that nearly 60 percent of GCSE grades awarded at the institution were in the 7 to 9 range, equivalent to A or A*.

Dowman, a breakout star for Arsenal last season, will now move into football full-time

As many of his peers prepare for A-level studies, Dowman will now fully immerse himself in his football career, aiming to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
