Arsenal has expressed interest in Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa as manager Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his squad. The Premier League champions are reportedly exploring moves for Konsa, who can play both center-back and right-back, and are also keen on attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers.

Aston Villa faces pressure to sell players this summer due to financial regulations. While reluctant to part with Rogers, the club may consider bids for other players, including Konsa. The England international has two years remaining on his contract, and Arsenal believes a transfer could be possible for approximately £35 million, though Aston Villa's valuation is reportedly higher. This potential investment in defense is partly driven by concerns over the long-term fitness of current player William Saliba.

Konsa joined Aston Villa from Brentford in 2019 for £12 million and has become a consistent performer in the Premier League. His versatility is seen as a significant asset by Arsenal.

Regarding Morgan Rogers, reports suggest that Aston Villa might be open to discussions at around £85 million. However, this figure must also account for a 20% sell-on clause held by Middlesbrough. Despite Villa's qualification for the Champions League, Rogers is reportedly open to exploring options with Arsenal. Teammates Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, and Eberechi Eze are said to be influencing Rogers' decision.

Arsenal aims to make approximately four to five quality signings this summer as they seek to strengthen their squad further.
