British sprinter Amy Hunt has secured her third gold medal at the European Championships, anchoring the women's 4x100m relay team to victory. The triumph came shortly after the men's 4x100m relay squad also claimed gold, marking a dominant performance by Great Britain in the sprint relay events.

The women's team, consisting of Dina Asher-Smith, Imani-Lara Lansiquot, Success Eduan, and Hunt, secured their title in Birmingham. Hunt received the baton on the anchor leg and maintained Britain's lead to cross the finish line, adding to her previous gold medals at the championships. Her team-mates were instrumental in building the advantage for the final leg.

Earlier, the men's team, featuring Jeremiah Azu, Zharnel Hughes, Louie Hinchliffe, and Romell Glave, also captured gold. Glave anchored the men's race, securing a commanding win for his team.

Hunt, who has been described as the 'track goddess,' is now in contention for a historic fourth gold medal on Sunday, potentially in another event.
