Bailey Kreinbrink, who relocated from the United States to Italy, reported a remarkable transformation in her health after adopting a daily pasta diet. She experienced a 50-pound weight loss and the cessation of a long-standing, agonizing illness that had previously made eating difficult and caused her to gain weight.

Prior to her move, Kreinbrink described her condition as severe, with pain so intense that it felt like her ribs were breaking with each bite. Despite struggling to eat, she had gained 50 pounds, feeling as though her body was shutting down. The dramatic shift in her health occurred after she began consuming pasta daily as part of her new life in Italy.

Kreinbrink focused on understanding the local diet, engaging with farmers and business owners to learn what made Italian food so different from what she experienced in the U.S. Her diet in Italy came to include staples like pasta and pizza, and she found herself eating out for most meals. She also incorporated other local favorites, such as multiple scoops of gelato daily.

Bailey told the Daily Mail that pasta and pizza became staples in her diet while living on the Amalfi Coast and in Florence. She now eats out for almost every meal while she's in Italy

Her journey to Italy was initially inspired by a family cruise. During that trip, her health was so poor that she could barely eat or get out of bed. This experience prompted an "unlikely experiment" that ultimately led to her current improved state of health.
