Television presenter Nick Knowles has stated that his wife, Katie Dadzie, will require another operation. Dadzie, 36, underwent life-saving surgery earlier this year after suffering a ruptured cervix following a hysterectomy. Knowles, 63, shared that he will be taking time away from his television commitments to care for his wife during her recovery. "I will disappear for a while because I’ll be looking after her," Knowles said at the TRIC Awards. "I’m always worried [about her], but she’s a warrior and a fighter, so I know she’ll be fine." He added that his wife has an "amazing surgeon" for the upcoming procedure and expressed hope that it will be the final one.

Dadzie, a lingerie entrepreneur, has previously spoken about her struggles with reproductive health issues, including polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, and adenomyosis. She described experiencing symptoms such as migraines, severe pain, and chronic fatigue, and noted years of misdiagnosis. Knowles, who has four children from previous relationships, married Dadzie last summer. She has two daughters from a prior relationship.

Knowles is known for his work on programs such as DIY SOS, where he previously persuaded Prince William to appear. He also worked on a documentary for Prince William and Prince Harry’s Heads Together mental health campaign. Dadzie's upcoming surgery will lead to Knowles temporarily stepping away from his television work.
