Zoe Saldaña and Hayley Atwell were among the glamorous attendees at Lancôme's Longevity MD lunch in London on Sunday. Saldaña, 48, star of "Guardians of the Galaxy," and Atwell, 44, known for the "Mission: Impossible" franchise, were pictured together at the event.
Other notable guests included Nicola Coughlan of "Bridgerton," Marisa Abela, and Haley Bennett. Saldaña and veteran actress Demi Moore are the faces of Lancôme's new Longevity MD collection.
Saldaña is fronting the Intercept duo, a serum and cream formulated for individuals aged 35 to 55. She described her ambassadorship as perfectly timed, emphasizing that the brand values her input, making it feel like a genuine partnership. "Opening up about becoming an ambassador for the brand, she called it perfect timing and said it felt like a true partnership because Lancôme listened to her ideas and opinions," according to the Daily Mail.
Demi Moore has been announced as the ambassador for the collection's Reset cream. The actress, celebrated for her ageless appearance, attributes her youthful look to a strong focus on self-care. Moore's perspective on aging and beauty standards was significantly influenced by her role in the 2024 film "The Substance." In the body horror film, she portrayed a fading movie star who turns to a black-market drug to regain her youth, a process with severe consequences.
"Filming The Substance was a very intense, visceral experience that really highlighted the dangers of self-judgment," Moore stated. "The most beautiful thing we can do is care for ourselves with kindness. I’ve viewed wellness and skin care as an act of gratitude, but this experience helped underscore that. I want to use products that work with my skin to help it stay resilient and healthy."
Moore also shared her intentional approach to her evening routine, describing the transition from daily chaos to rest as "life-changing," with skincare being a key component. She views these small acts of self-care as leading to lasting results. She connected with the Lancôme Longevity MD collection's emphasis on longevity and self-care, stating, "Ageing is a gift, and longevity helps you to thrive as you age, to really invest in your future."
Lancôme Global Brand President Vania Lacascade expressed delight in welcoming Moore to the brand's collective. "A true pioneer, Demi embodies a remarkable resilience and has always forged her own path with fearlessness and conviction," Lacascade said in a statement. "Her vision of beauty - as a form of self-determination at every stage of life - deeply resonates with Lancôme."
Moore echoed this sentiment in her own statement: "Lancôme stands for beauty on every level beyond just the surface. It stands for progress, for the science of possibility and for the belief that women deserve to feel beautiful and uplifted at every life stage. Learning to accept oneself is a journey and it is my honour to partner with a house that celebrates the same spirit."
