Zendaya playfully responded to a fan's marriage proposal at a "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" event in Mexico on Monday, telling him, "You're too late!"

The actress, 29, was walking the red carpet when a fan shouted a proposal, prompting her cheeky reply. The moment was captured on video and shared on Instagram. Zendaya is referring to her marriage to longtime "Spider-Man" co-star Tom Holland.

Holland, 30, also recently alluded to their marriage. While promoting "The Odyssey" with co-stars, he responded to a question about his character's romantic interest in Zendaya's character by saying, "No. Because she’s married to me." He also joked about AI-generated wedding photos circulating online, telling Esquire that his family wasn't concerned because "they were all there" at the actual wedding.

Holland confirmed their private wedding in an interview with Esquire last month, after much speculation. He described his relationship with Zendaya as a "bedrock" that can withstand stressful situations. He called her his "person" and "best friend," adding that he has "never felt so supported and safe" as he does with her.

Reports of the couple's marriage had been circulating for months, with Zendaya seen wearing a sparkler on her ring finger. Her stylist, Law Roach, also hinted at the marriage in March 2026, telling Access Hollywood that "the wedding has already happened."

Holland and Zendaya have been linked since 2017 and reportedly became engaged over the 2024 holidays. The exact date of their wedding remains private.
