Zendaya arrived at a "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" photocall in London on Thursday, captivating attendees with a striking backless gown featuring an elaborate spiderweb motif. The custom dress, designed to align with the film's theme, showcased a silver spiderweb detail across the back, adorned with charms like hearts and stars. The main body of the gown was patterned with a night sky design, accented with gold cherubs.

This appearance continues Zendaya's practice of "method dressing" during film promotions. Earlier in the week, she wore a vintage Spider-Man T-shirt as a dress in Paris and a sparkling red and blue coordinated outfit in Rome for previous promotional events for the film.

She accessorized her London look with white heels and wore her hair swept to one side. Zendaya attended the photocall separately from her husband, Tom Holland, who was also present. Holland kept his attire casual with a charcoal jacket and burgundy T-shirt.

The film "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," the fourth standalone movie in the series, is scheduled for release on July 29. It follows an isolated Peter Parker four years after the events of "No Way Home," where a spell by Doctor Strange caused the world to forget his civilian identity. The immense pressure of his solitary role as Spider-Man triggers a genetic mutation that affects his superpowers. Zendaya reprises her role as Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson, Peter Parker's love interest and former classmate.

In recent interviews, Holland has spoken about his relationship with Zendaya, describing her as his "person" and stating he is "the happiest I've ever been." He also confirmed their marriage, addressing viral AI-generated images of the couple, noting that family members who saw the images were present at the actual ceremony. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, had previously alluded to the marriage in February, though the couple did not confirm it at the time. Zendaya first displayed her engagement ring, designed by Jessica McCormack, at the 2025 Golden Globes.
