Zendaya, Charlize Theron, and a pregnant Anne Hathaway were among the stars who gathered in Paris on Tuesday for the premiere of Christopher Nolan's latest film, "The Odyssey." The event took place at the Trocadéro.

Zendaya, who portrays Athena in the epic adaptation of Homer's ancient Greek epic, arrived in a striking Alexander McQueen mask designed to resemble the Eiffel Tower. She paired the headwear with a vintage Givenchy dress. "The Odyssey" chronicles Odysseus's journey home after the Trojan War, with Matt Damon taking on the titular role and Hathaway playing his wife, Penelope.

Hathaway, who announced her pregnancy last month, wore a gown inspired by the night sky. Theron showcased her legs in a silk shorts and satin shirt ensemble. Other cast members present included Lupita Nyong'o, who plays Clytemnestra, and Tom Holland.

The film, with a reported budget of $250 million and shot entirely on IMAX 70mm cameras, has generated discussion beyond its cast and visual ambition. Nolan has defended his casting choices, including Nyong'o, after public comments from Elon Musk questioned the historical accuracy of casting a Black actress as Clytemnestra. Nolan stated that early depictions of Homeric characters were often made to align with the perspectives of their original audiences.

Alec Baldwin has publicly supported Nolan and Nyong'o, while "The View" host Sunny Hostin criticized Musk's remarks as racist. "The Odyssey" is set for release on July 17.
