Sacha Baron Cohen, reprising his iconic Ali G persona in "Ali G: Who Iz I?", orchestrated a satirical ambush targeting a real estate agent during a tour of a $30 million Bel Air mansion. The agent, Adriel Hsu, found himself caught in a series of increasingly bizarre situations, serving as an unwitting intermediary in a staged domestic dispute.
The elaborate prank began as soon as Hsu introduced himself to the supposed buyers, Ali G and his pregnant partner Julie, portrayed by Morgana Robinson. Cohen's character immediately began criticizing the home's features, dismissing a baby grand piano as a "sht table" and an open-air patio as "crp" for lacking a roof.
The situation escalated when Ali G drew Hsu into a fabricated argument with Julie over the collapse of their fictional HBO show. Hsu was forced to shuttle between the two characters, relaying increasingly tense messages. The exchange took a more uncomfortable turn when the argument delved into personal matters, with Julie accusing Ali G of performance issues.
The prank culminated in the master bathroom, where Ali G, seated on the toilet, continued the negotiation with Hsu. Despite the surreal and awkward circumstances, Hsu maintained his composure throughout the ordeal, acting as the straight man in the staged encounter. Cohen's character concluded the interaction by offering Hsu a fist bump from the toilet seat.
