Zendaya and Tom Holland attended a photocall in Rome on Tuesday to promote their new film, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." Zendaya showcased a Spider-Man inspired ensemble featuring a red and blue sparkly crop top and matching midi skirt. She shared images of the event, including a selfie with Holland, on Instagram with the caption, "Just jumping on to say hi from our stop in Rome♥️@spidermanmovie."
The film, scheduled for release on July 29, is the fourth standalone Spider-Man movie and follows Peter Parker four years after the events of "No Way Home." In the new installment, Peter Parker, played by Holland, lives in isolation as Spider-Man after a spell cast by Doctor Strange causes the world to forget his civilian identity. The immense pressure of his solitary existence triggers a genetic mutation that causes his superpowers to malfunction. Zendaya reprises her role as Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson, Peter's love interest and former classmate.
Holland, 30, recently confirmed his marriage to Zendaya, 29, in an interview with Esquire UK. When asked about viral AI-generated wedding images of the couple, Holland stated, "No, because they were all there... That's all you'll get on that," confirming their nuptials had taken place. Zendaya's stylist, Law Roach, had previously alluded to the marriage in February during an interview at the 2026 Actor Awards. Zendaya was first seen wearing her engagement ring, designed by Jessica McCormack, at the 2025 Golden Globes.
Speaking about their relationship, Holland described Zendaya as his "person" and "best friend," expressing that he is "the happiest I've ever been" when with her. He also noted the unique support and safety they provide each other, stemming from their shared experience in the public eye. "Our business can present very stressful situations, and it's really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," Holland said. "We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it's like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don't understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else."
