Zac Goldsmith married PR executive Hermione “Hum” Fleming on Saturday afternoon in the Cotswolds village of Longborough, with former prime minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie and former culture secretary Nadine Dorries among the guests.
Goldsmith, 50, described in reports as a twice‑married father of six, and Fleming, 35, who is a great‑niece of James Bond creator Ian Fleming, had originally booked a church in nearby Stow‑on‑the‑Wold but moved the service at the last minute. "They had to move the wedding to Longborough for various reasons," a guest said. "Hum's mum preferred this church as it's much cosier."
The ceremony took place at 3 p.m. Fleming arrived wearing an off‑the‑shoulder long white Vivienne Westwood wedding dress with her hair swept back into a ponytail, accompanied by flower girls in traditional bridesmaid dresses and floral headdresses. Goldsmith arrived earlier in morning dress and was accompanied by his daughter Uma, who wore white, according to accounts of the event.
Fleming celebrated a hen party in June, where she wore a cream sequinned jumpsuit and novelty "bride‑to‑be" sunglasses; a floral headdress for that celebration was made by her twin sister, Chloe, reports said.
The wedding drew a number of public figures. Media reports named Boris and Carrie Johnson and former culture secretary Nadine Dorries among those in attendance. Organisers moved the location shortly before the service, and guests said the choice of Longborough was driven by family preference for a smaller, cosier church.
Details reported about the ceremony and guests were shared by attendees and published in media accounts. The marriage links Goldsmith, who has six children, with Fleming, a London‑based PR executive and member of the family of the author of the James Bond novels.
Arrangements for the reception and plans announced by the couple have not been publicly detailed beyond accounts shared by guests and photographs circulated after the service.
