YouTuber and reality television personality Morgan Burtwistle, widely known as AngryGinge, has publicly criticized the stewarding at the World Cup after reporting an individual for alleged racist behavior during England's match against Ghana on Tuesday in Foxborough, USA. Burtwistle, who won the reality competition "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" last year, detailed the incident on his YouTube channel.

According to Burtwistle's account in a video posted on MoreGinge, he observed a fan making racist comments towards the Ghanaian national team. He reported the behavior to a steward, emphasizing that such actions should result in immediate removal from the stadium. Burtwistle expressed frustration when initially told that no action could be taken unless the offensive language was repeated. "There's no way he should ever set foot at a stadium or watch a football game ever again," Burtwistle stated in the video.

Burtwistle reported that after his complaints, a team was assembled to address the situation. The individual in question reportedly apologized to Burtwistle for his comments, saying, "I'm sorry about my comment about Ghana, it won't happen again." Burtwistle rejected the apology, stating, "No it won't happen again, because you're going to get thrown out." The fan then asked to forget the incident, to which Burtwistle replied, "Forget about you being racist!? No, mate."

Despite the confrontation and apology, Burtwistle claims the fan was eventually moved from his seat but remained in the stadium and watched the remainder of the match. Burtwistle also expressed dismay that the fan, whom he identified as a "clothing brand owner," was not permanently removed from the venue.

Upon his own departure from the stadium, Burtwistle voiced his strong disapproval of the American stewards' handling of the situation. "It's absolutely not good enough from the American stewards," he stated. "The message before the game the message is kick it out - if you see it, say it. I've gone and reported it, he's not been kicked out of the stadium... It's an absolute f***ing disgrace he's been allowed to stay in after I had the evidence and five witnesses heard him say it."

The fan apologised and asked if he could forget about it, to which Burtwistle firmly said no

Burtwistle concluded that he had done all he could to address the incident. The match between England and Ghana ended in a 0-0 draw. Burtwistle, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, gained public recognition after winning the latest season of "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!"
