The popular YouTube variety show "Good Mythical Morning" is expanding its reach with a new deal that will bring the series to Netflix. The show, hosted by Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, will begin streaming on the platform on September 7.
"Good Mythical Morning," which launched in 2012, features the duo participating in various games, challenges, taste tests, and interviews with celebrity guests. The series will be released on Netflix on a day-to-day basis, airing simultaneously with its original YouTube channel. All content on Netflix will be new.
The hosts, Rhett McLaughlin and Link Neal, also lead Mythical Entertainment, which produces other shows including "Mythical Kitchen" and "Last Meals." "Mythical Kitchen" features chef Josh Scherer tackling culinary challenges and creating inventive dishes, while "Last Meals" has Scherer interviewing celebrities about their desired final meal.
"Good Mythical Morning" airs on weekdays at 6 a.m. ET and 3 a.m. PT. "Mythical Kitchen" episodes are released Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12 p.m. ET and 9 a.m. PT, and "Last Meals" typically uploads on Thursdays.
While "Good Mythical Morning" will continue to be available for free on YouTube, viewers will require a Netflix subscription to watch the series on the streaming service. Netflix offers several subscription tiers, starting at $7.99 per month for a standard plan with ads, up to $24.99 per month for an ad-free 4K UHD option.
