‘Young Guns’ Cast Reunites Nearly 40 Years Later for Dallas Fan Event

Original cast members from the 1988 Western film “Young Guns” gathered for a reunion nearly four decades after its release. Actors Dermot Mulroney and Emilio Estevez shared a selfie from a fan event in Dallas, Texas, featuring several of their co-stars.

Dermot Mulroney posted the photo on Instagram with the caption, “38 years later #youngguns rides again - PALS.” The image included Estevez, his brother Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Casey Siemaszko, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Terry O'Quinn.

Fans reacted enthusiastically in the comments, with many noting Estevez’s seemingly ageless appearance. One user wrote, “Does Emilio Estevez ever age? He has the secret to the fountain of youth.” Another commented, “Emilio looking younger than all of them!”

“Young Guns” tells the story of Billy the Kid, portrayed by Estevez, and a group of young outlaws seeking revenge after their mentor is murdered. The film was followed by a sequel, “Young Guns II,” in 1990, which featured an expanded cast including Christian Slater and Alan Ruck, and included the Academy Award-nominated theme song “Blaze of Glory” by Jon Bon Jovi.
