A 24-year-old woman has said she has "no regrets" after inviting her best friend to sleep with her 35-year-old boyfriend, a decision the trio discussed on an episode of the YouTube series Love Don't Judge.

Meg and Owain, who described their relationship as built on sexual openness, said they met just over a year ago while shooting a video and that both regularly sleep with other people for work. Meg, who identified as bisexual, told the show she also works as an escort and has regular clients, while Owain said he had recently begun exploring his "bi-curious" side and been filming with male performers.

In the episode, the couple discussed inviting Bonnie, a close friend who Meg said had been "there since the beginning" of their relationship, to the couple's home to sleep with Owain. Meg said she trusted both Bonnie and Owain "100 per cent," and that trust was central to her decision. The trio sat around a dinner table and talked through how the evening would proceed over cups of tea before Bonnie and Owain went upstairs together.

Bonnie told the show she was "a little bit surprised" by the invitation but that she also expected it might come and accepted because it was something that interested her. Meg said she felt nervous about the arrangement because the two had never had sex without her in the room, but added she was excited and would not have agreed to it if she were not comfortable. Afterward, she said she had been worried she might regret the choice but ultimately had "no regrets." Owain told the cameras he would "do it again" and suggested the three of them could all become involved next time.

The couple also described joining a dating website to meet other couples and singles and receiving negative feedback online. "A lot of people were saying, 'You just obviously don't love each other' or 'you obviously aren't happy with one another,'" Owain said on the show. Meg said critics had misunderstood their dynamic, adding that they can pursue sexual encounters with others and still return to their relationship.

Meg acknowledged potential awkwardness if Bonnie had not enjoyed the experience but said she did not believe it would damage the friendship because of the closeness among the three. During the episode, Meg asked Owain whether he would allow her to sleep with one of his best friends; he responded that it would "depend on who you want to sleep with" and later framed such arrangements as reciprocal: if he was allowed, she would be allowed.

The episode presented the couple's decisions as intentional and negotiated. They discussed boundaries and expectations in front of a camera crew and returned to one another to debrief after the encounter. Bonnie told the cameras she felt "very honoured and special" to have been invited.

The episode is part of a broader online trend of creators discussing nonmonogamous arrangements and the boundaries couples set when they include others. Meg and Owain's appearance on Love Don't Judge documents one couple's approach to consensual nonmonogamy and the practical and emotional considerations they say accompany it. The pair said they aim to manage outside encounters in a way that preserves their relationship and their friendship with Bonnie.

Representatives for the show did not immediately provide additional comment.

The episode and the couple's statements have circulated on social media, prompting discussion about trust, consent and how couples navigate public exposure of private sexual choices. Meg and Owain said they have faced criticism but defended their lifestyle as the dynamic that works for them and their friendship with Bonnie.
