The final season of "Wizards Beyond Waverly Place" is set to premiere on the Disney Channel on August 4 at 8 p.m. ET. This four-part event will feature the return of original series stars Selena Gomez as Alex Russo and David Henrie as Justin Russo. As her family bands together to find Alex, Billie realizes that their combined power is the only way the Russos can defeat the evil plaguing them."

Selena Gomez, reprising her role as Alex, will also make her directorial debut with the premiere episode. Other familiar faces from the original "Wizards of Waverly Place" are expected to make guest appearances.
