Wimbledon semi-finalist Arthur Fery has joined the exclusive celebrity dating app Raya as he seeks a romantic partner. The 24-year-old British tennis player, who entered the tournament as a wildcard, has reportedly used a photo of himself shaking hands with the Princess of Wales on his profile.

Fery's run at Wimbledon this year ended in the semi-finals against the eventual runner-up, Alexander Zverev. He listed 'professional tennis player' and his time at Stanford University, where he attended on a tennis scholarship, in his Raya biography. Other images on his profile show him playing on the grass court, speaking in post-match interviews, and waving to the Centre Court crowd. The song 'We Are The People' by Empire of the Sun is also featured.

Before his semi-final match, which fell on his 24th birthday, Fery met with Kate, the Princess of Wales. She presented him with a birthday card, and Fery offered to play tennis with her children, noting that the royal family are all tennis fans. Despite this encounter, Fery has cropped the princess out of the photograph used on his dating app profile.

Fery's family has strong ties to tennis. His mother, Olivia Gravereaux, qualified for Roland Garros in 1991 and reached a peak world ranking of 225. The family moved to London when Arthur was a month old, and he attended King's College School. His father, Loic Fery, is a businessman who previously owned the French Ligue 1 football club Lorient.

Arthur Fery earned approximately £900,000 from his Wimbledon performance, which marked his deepest run in the main competition. He had previously reached the semi-finals of the boys' doubles at Wimbledon seven years prior and made the third round of the mixed doubles in 2021.
