Wimbledon's famous strawberries are supplied by Hugh Lowe Farms, a family-run operation in Mereworth, Kent. The farm has provided several tons of the fruit to the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) annually for decades, becoming synonymous with the iconic tennis tournament.
Amelia McLean, representing the fifth generation of her family working on the farm, stated that they are "really conscious of making sure that people get the right iconic treat when they go to Wimbledon." She also noted that the growing conditions in 2026 have led to perfect ripening, suggesting the produce will be of "really good quality."
The farm delivers multiple pallets of strawberries to the tournament venue daily during the event. This long-standing relationship highlights the importance of consistent quality and a reliable supply chain for a high-profile sporting event like Wimbledon. The farm has been a dedicated supplier for many years, ensuring the availability of this beloved treat for attendees.
