Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith made a rare public appearance together with their daughter Willow to support son Jaden at the Christian Louboutin show during Men's Paris Fashion Week. The family was in the French capital for the event as Jaden takes on his new position as Maison Christian Louboutin's first-ever Men's Creative Director.
Jaden recently debuted his first collection since assuming the role. The Smith family reunion in Paris marks a notable public outing for the couple, who have been described as living in an unconventional "life partnership" since 2016, though they remain legally married. Their last joint public appearance was for a family dinner in early June, their first in six months.
Also in attendance were Will's eldest son, Trey, from his previous marriage to Sheree Zampino, and Jada's mother, Adrienne. Jada, 54, wore a black crop top and skirt set, while Will, 57, donned a black suit. Willow, 25, showcased her personal style in a strappy crop top and baggy shorts.
Jada Pinkett Smith confirmed in a 2023 interview that she and Will separated in 2016 but have not officially divorced. She explained that by 2016, they were "exhausted with trying" and both stuck in "fantasy" about each other. Pinkett has stated she made a promise not to divorce Will and has not been able to break it, despite their separate living arrangements.
In recent years, the couple has navigated public scrutiny regarding their relationship, including Pinkett's discussion of an "entanglement" with singer August Alsina on her talk show "Red Table Talk" in 2020. Pinkett maintained that she and Smith were separated at the time of the affair.
Will Smith is also preparing for his return to acting in non-franchise films. He is set to star in "Supermax," a film about FBI agents investigating a murder in a maximum-security prison, with production expected to begin in August.
