Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly happier than ever in their 28-year marriage, according to a new report. An insider told People on Monday that Pinkett Smith moved back in with the actor two years ago and that they are committed to supporting each other.
"They are happy and love each other and are, as ever, committed to supporting each other," the source told People. Pinkett Smith was reportedly with Smith when he returned to his native Philadelphia for a Fourth of July concert, as she "always is."
The couple was seen together in Paris multiple times last month, including at Paris Fashion Week to support their son Jaden's collection. They were accompanied by their two other children.
This apparent reconciliation follows years of public marital challenges. Three years ago, Pinkett Smith revealed on TODAY that she and Smith had been living separately for seven years, a period that began after her 2016 "entanglement" with musician August Alsina. Despite these revelations, Pinkett Smith stated that divorce was never an option for the couple.
Pinkett Smith also indicated that her feelings for Smith deepened after he slapped comedian Chris Rock at the 94th Academy Awards in 2022. Smith was subsequently banned from attending Academy events for 10 years.
Smith and Pinkett Smith co-founded the multimedia company Westbrook in 2019 and share several properties, including a compound in Calabasas, California, and homes in Hawaii and Pennsylvania. Smith recently completed a filming project and a global travel series, "Pole to Pole." Next month, he is set to begin production on and star in the action thriller "Supermax" for Amazon MGM Studios.
Pinkett Smith is reprising her role as Lena James in a 10-episode sequel to "A Different World," scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 24.
