Actor and comedian Will Ferrell is now also an underwear model, starring in the latest campaign for Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand, Skims. Ferrell is promoting his upcoming Netflix show, "The Hawk," by embodying his character, aging professional golfer Lonnie "The Hawk" Hawkins.
Skims shared six images on Instagram featuring Ferrell in character, modeling the brand's men's briefs, a tank top, tube socks, and his signature "Hawk" visor and puka shell necklace. The fictional golfer's social media account has already amassed over 70,000 followers. Kim Kardashian narrated a campaign video in which Ferrell's character golfs while wearing the Skims attire.
"His body says retire. His Skims say one more round," Kardashian stated in the video, emphasizing that Skims are "built for men who still know they’ve got it."
Ferrell and Kardashian had previously teased the collaboration on Instagram, with Kardashian guiding Ferrell's character on how to take a selfie. The fictional golfer's post included instructions for followers to comment if they could see the post and thanked Kardashian for her assistance.
Ferrell joins a roster of celebrities who have previously appeared in Skims campaigns, including Usher, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Cardi B, and Nelly Furtado. The men's line, though newer, has featured advertisements with Usher and Post Malone.
Ferrell's Netflix show, "The Hawk," is scheduled to be released on July 16.
