There will be no new episode of the Paramount+ drama "Landman" airing on July 26, as the series has been on hiatus since its second season finale on January 18, 2026. The show has been renewed for a third season following record-breaking viewership for its second season, a renewal that was confirmed by Paramount+ in December 2025.
While an official release date for "Landman" Season 3 has not yet been announced, the show's past release schedule offers some indication. Both the first and second seasons premiered in November of 2024 and 2025, respectively. However, a potential November 2026 return date now appears unlikely.
Series star Billy Bob Thornton, in a May 2026 appearance on Howie Mandel's podcast, stated that production was delayed until "the end of August." This delay is expected to push the Season 3 release into early 2027. Production is scheduled to commence in late August in Fort Worth, Texas.
Seasons 1 and 2 of "Landman" are currently available for streaming on Paramount+. Subscriptions to Paramount+ can also be added to Hulu or Amazon accounts. Paramount+ offers two subscription tiers: Essential, which is ad-supported and costs $8.99 per month, and Premium, which is ad-free and includes Showtime titles and live CBS, costing $13.99 per month. While Paramount+ does not directly offer a free trial, it can be accessed through a Prime Video account with an additional monthly charge.
