National Television Awards presenters Sian Welby and Ashley James faced an unexpected wardrobe challenge Tuesday night when their dresses became stuck together as they went on stage to accept the Best Daytime award for This Morning.
The presenters had to walk off stage holding hands to manage the mishap in front of the audience at The O2.
Ashley James, 39, shared a video of the incident on her Instagram stories, writing, "@sianwelby went on stage and ended up stuck together. We had to slowly walk off together." James wore a black strapless Karen Millen dress with an embellished neckline, complemented by a white cape. Welby, 40, wore a black sparkly semi-sheer gown with cut-out detailing at the waist.
They joined fellow This Morning presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, and Friday hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on stage to accept the award.
