Vinnie Jones arrived hand in hand with girlfriend Emma Ford at the 27th Goodwood Revival in West Sussex on Sunday, presenting a united front at the event that celebrates historic motor racing and vintage fashion.

The 60-year-old actor, best known for roles in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, wore a navy blazer over a patterned blue shirt, paired with burgundy trousers, suede boots, a wool scarf and a tan fedora. Ford, who works as a script consultant and actress, wore a dark leopard-print fur coat, navy cord trousers, black boots and a green fedora, carrying a burgundy handbag and an umbrella.

Jones and Ford met in 2022 when he employed her as a personal assistant, and the pair made their first public appearance together in December. Ford has also appeared on Jones’s Discovery+ documentary about his rural life, and media accounts note she previously worked as a PA for Mick Jones of The Clash and as a showbiz reporter in Los Angeles.

The Goodwood Revival this year pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of Scottish racing driver Jim Clark’s most successful year, with attendees often embracing period dress and classic cars. Jones and Ford joined other guests taking part in the weekend’s racing and vintage-themed events.

Jones has spoken publicly about finding love again after the death of his wife, Tanya, whom he married in 1994. Tanya was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2013 and died in 2019 after the disease spread to her brain, according to media reports. Jones has said in past interviews that grief remains with him but that his late wife would not have wanted him to be alone.

Jones’s personal life has been marked by periods of struggle as well as recovery. Media accounts and past interviews describe long-term battles with alcohol in earlier decades, a 1995 incident in which he bit a journalist’s nose, a later conviction for assault that resulted in community service, and a highly publicized episode in 2012 involving a photograph taken in Russia. Jones has said those experiences and the strain of his wife’s illness helped prompt changes in his life.

Ford has been portrayed in coverage of Jones’s television work as a calming presence; reports indicate she has given up drinking and has offered to care for Jones. In interviews Jones has described a moment when Ford told him she had decided to look after him, a comment he said echoed what his late wife would have wanted.

The couple’s outing at Goodwood is the latest public milestone for Jones since his move into television and streaming projects and his increasingly public life in the English countryside. Their appearance reinforces the central role personal relationships have played in his recent years as he balances professional work with family commitments and public interest in his private life.
