Vicky Pattison, 38, has shared her ambition to become a mother, stating that her recent holiday photos were not intended to showcase a "glamorous and posey" but rather to reflect her focus on future motherhood. Pattison, who is married to Ercan Ramadan, took to Instagram to address her fans after posting a series of swimwear pictures from a trip to Montenegro.
She explained that while she appreciates the supportive messages regarding her appearance, her increased fitness efforts this year have been primarily aimed at being strong and capable for when she and her husband start a family. Pattison clarified that the holiday pictures, while showing her in swimwear, were a curated presentation, highlighting elements like "great swimwear, carefully curated, unnatural and normally f**king uncomfortable poses, skinny mirrors, good angles, a great spray tan."
Pattison also emphasized her enjoyment of her holiday, unashamedly indulging in food and drink as part of experiencing new cultures with her husband. She stated that her body has changed since the holiday, and that fluctuation is "OK," urging her followers not to compare themselves to seemingly perfect social media posts.
"The mummy blogger is probably exhausted, the fitness influencer eats ice cream over the sink late at night and the 'celeb' doesn't look like that all the time... We're all lovely just the way we are.. our lumps and bumps, our soft tummies, our saggy bums.. whatever it is!" she wrote.
This candid approach follows Pattison's previous openness about her fertility journey. She has spoken on her podcast about the emotional challenges of trying to conceive, revealing that she froze her eggs at age 35. Pattison expressed a desire for more women to have access to affordable fertility treatments.
In a 2025 interview with Women's Health UK, Pattison discussed the pressure surrounding motherhood and career aspirations. She advocated for egg freezing but acknowledged it as a privilege, noting that women often face compromises and an "invisible timeline" regarding family planning. She shared that meeting her husband Ercan at 31 allowed her relationship breathing room and relieved a sense of being on a "conveyor belt."
