Football fans at Aberystwyth Town Football Club will have the opportunity to experience fine dining as two-Michelin-star chef Gareth Ward launches a pop-up culinary venture.
Ward, the chef behind Ynyshir Restaurant and Rooms, located near Machynlleth, Powys, has collaborated with the Ceredigion-based club, which competes in the second tier of Welsh football, the Novira Cymru South division. This partnership aims to provide supporters with varied matchday dining options, hospitality packages, and corporate event services throughout the season.
Ward, who has previously appeared as a guest judge on MasterChef: The Professionals, expressed his enthusiasm for the new initiative, stating that football clubs should be integral to their communities. "I see a real opportunity to bring people together through food and unforgettable matchday experiences and corporate events," Ward said.
He described the collaboration with Aberystwyth Football Club as a chance to offer fans something "truly unique."
