Ryan Phelan has married his fiancée Sarah Wade in a ceremony the television host described as the "happiest day" of his life.

Phelan, 50, announced the wedding on Instagram on Saturday, posting a gallery of photos from the couple's special day and writing: "✨16.8.25✨ The happiest day of my life. @sarahwade you are everything I could ever wish for in a bride. Your poise, calm, warmth, energy and support turned an incredible day into something truly unforgettable. You are one in a million – and you've made me feel like the luckiest man alive. To share such a moment with our beautiful family and friends has created memories I'll treasure forever."

Photographs shared by Phelan showed Wade in a strapless white gown with a long veil and a draped detail gathered to one side. Phelan was photographed in a navy blue suit and white shirt. The couple posed with family and friends.

The wedding took place on Aug. 16, 2025, according to Phelan's caption. He proposed to Wade in January 2023 in Sorrento, Victoria, in front of family and friends. The Instagram post posted the gallery and the message of thanks to guests and loved ones.

Phelan has worked as a television host in Australia and has maintained a public profile through his media work. Wade has been described in coverage of the wedding as glamorous; she has largely maintained a low public profile aside from social posts tied to the couple's engagement and wedding announcements.

The social-media announcement follows a period of public attention on the engagement. The wedding photos shared by Phelan drove coverage in entertainment outlets that reported on the ceremony, the couple's attire and the timeline from engagement to marriage.

No further details about the ceremony location, guest list or plans for a honeymoon were disclosed in Phelan's Instagram gallery. Both Phelan and Wade have not yet provided extended public comments beyond the images and the caption posted to Phelan's account.
