Travis Kelce has revealed the reasons behind his and Taylor Swift's decision to hold their wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden. The couple exchanged vows on July 3 at the renowned New York venue in front of approximately 1,000 guests.

Kelce discussed the choice on the latest episode of his podcast, "New Heights." He explained that the couple aimed for an intimate and genuine setting with minimal distractions. "We needed it to be a private feel. And MSG went above and beyond to give us that," Kelce stated.

He also shared that the venue held personal significance for him. Kelce recalled a childhood dream of attending a New York Knicks playoff game when the arena was particularly lively. He noted that Swift had attended Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs in June, just weeks before their wedding, while he was at his team's training camp.

"It's kind of cool, you know, to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, you know – the mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there," Kelce said. He also expressed gratitude to the owners of Madison Square Garden for facilitating the opportunity.

Adding a touch of humor, Kelce remarked, "It was perfect and the AC was cooking, baby. That was the best part."
