Comedian Tom Segura was seen without his wedding ring on the latest episode of his podcast "2 Bears, 1 Cave," released on the same day reports surfaced of his separation from wife Christina Pazsitzky. Segura, 47, and Pazsitzky, 50, are reportedly divorcing after 18 years of marriage.
Segura had consistently worn his wedding ring on previous episodes of "2 Bears, 1 Cave," including one that aired on June 29. The episode that has drawn attention for his lack of a ring was released Monday.
According to reports, the couple separated within the last few months. They share two sons, Ellis, born in 2016, and Julian, born in 2018. Pazsitzky and Segura married in November 2008.
Despite their separation, Segura and Pazsitzky are expected to continue co-hosting their popular podcast "Your Mom’s House," which they founded in 2012, along with their podcast network YMH Studios. Their last joint filming of "Your Mom's House" was in late April, at which time Segura was still wearing his wedding ring.
A source told a media outlet that the pair maintained a "special and productive relationship" in building one of the most successful comedy podcast networks. The insider added, "They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children."
Both comedians have openly discussed their marriage in their respective stand-up shows and podcasts. In 2019, Segura humorously described his marriage as being based on "intimidation and fear." Pazsitzky, in her 2017 Netflix special "Mother Inferior," also made light of their marital dynamics, stating, "I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s fantastic. And then all day, every day, I wanna punch him in his dumb face."
