Comedian Tom Segura described his wife, Christina Pazsitzky, as "cold as ice" and a "sociopath" in a July 2025 episode of their podcast, "Your Mom's House," a year before the couple reportedly separated. The resurfaced comments come in the wake of a report by TMZ stating that the comedians, married for 18 years, have separated amicably in recent months.

During the July 2, 2025, "Your Mom's House" episode, Pazsitzky recounted Segura's previous assessment of her. "Last night, you told me I was cold as ice and a sociopath," she said to Segura. He responded jokingly, "You're mentally ill. But it's a kind that I'm familiar with and I still love you."

Pazsitzky further explained that Segura told her she "doesn’t have feelings" and was "very emotionally cold." Segura doubled down, stating, "You're cold. You're very Eastern European." He also claimed Pazsitzky possessed a "lack of empathy" and "lack of remorse."

In the same podcast episode, Pazsitzky acknowledged having difficulty "feeling" emotions and viewed smiling as a "form of weakness" due to her cultural background. She also countered that Segura himself is not constantly "up in [his] feelings."

The couple had previously engaged in discussions on their podcast about which of them exhibited more traits of "antisocial personality disorder," with each claiming the other did.

TMZ reported on Monday that Segura, 47, and Pazsitzky, 50, have separated. A source told the outlet that the separation is "completely amicable" and that the couple, who share two sons, are "taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children."

Segura and Pazsitzky co-founded the podcast network YMH Studios in 2025 and have co-hosted "Your Mom's House" since 2012. However, the reportedly estranged couple have not filmed an episode together since April. They are parents to sons Ellis, born in 2016, and Julian, born in 2018.

Prior to their reported separation, both comedians frequently discussed their marriage in their stand-up routines and on their podcast. Pazsitzky's 2017 Netflix special "Mother Inferior" included jokes about wanting to "punch him in his dumb face" despite loving him, attributing this to "little stuff" rather than major issues.

In 2019, Segura joked during a comedy show that "intimidation and fear" were the keys to his marriage. Segura also appeared to hint at the separation by not wearing his wedding ring during the Monday episode of his other podcast, "2 Bears, 1 Cave."
