Tom Holland has been announced as the latest A-list star to read a CBeebies Bedtime Story, joining a roster of notable actors who have participated in the program.

Holland, 30, is scheduled to read the family favorite "Superworm" on Friday. The story centers on a heroic, super-stretchy worm who must be rescued by his friends after falling under the spell of a greedy wizard lizard.

The actor's episode will air on CBeebies on Friday, July 24, at 6:50 p.m. and will also be available on BBC iPlayer.

Holland's appearance follows previous readings by actors such as Chris Evans, Tom Hiddleston, and Jason Momoa. Other notable participants have included Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Chris Hemsworth.

The announcement comes shortly before the release of Holland's new movie, "Spider-Man: Brand New Day," scheduled for July 31. His recent film, "The Odyssey," has achieved significant box office success, grossing $303 million worldwide in its first week of release.

Holland and his co-star Zendaya recently recreated promotional photos from a decade ago, marking a nostalgic moment as they promote their latest "Spider-Man" film. The pair, who met on the set of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" in 2016, are now married and have recreated poses from their first press tour together, alongside co-star Jacob Batalon.
