Actor Tom Holland expressed his admiration for England footballers Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane during a recent press tour in London for his film "The Odyssey." Holland called Bellingham "what a guy!" after the player scored two goals in two minutes during a previous match and referred to Kane as an "absolute legend."

Holland, who was promoting his new film, shared his confidence in the English team's prospects. "I've always been confident," he stated when asked about England's chances in the World Cup. He also noted that the team "really, really showed themselves as a unit" in their recent performance.

The press tour also provided an opportunity for Holland to discuss working with his wife, Zendaya, on "The Odyssey." Zendaya plays Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, warfare, and handicraft, while Holland portrays Telemachus, Odysseus's son. Holland remarked that working with Zendaya taught him to "be confident and be bold," praising her ability to create characters that feel like real people.

Zendaya echoed similar sentiments, describing the experience of being cast together as "the dream." She shared her excitement and pride when Holland was initially cast, and was further delighted when she joined the ensemble. "It's absolutely the dream," she said of being able to share the experience with her husband. Holland had previously revealed that director Christopher Nolan specifically asked if he would mind Zendaya joining the cast, a suggestion he welcomed. Miami is set to host England's World Cup quarter-final match against Norway on Saturday night.
