Tom Holland has voiced his strong support for England's national football team, specifically praising players Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane. The actor, currently promoting his latest film "The Odyssey," expressed his admiration during a press event in London earlier this week.

Holland specifically highlighted Bellingham's recent performance, stating, "Jude Bellingham, what a guy!" He added that the team "really, really showed themselves as a unit" in their recent games. Referring to captain Harry Kane, Holland called him an "absolute legend" and conveyed his confidence in the team's prospects.

When asked about England's chances in the World Cup, Holland responded with "I've always been confident."

The press tour also offered insight into Holland's personal life, particularly his collaboration with his wife, actress Zendaya, on "The Odyssey." Zendaya portrays Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, warfare, and handicraft, while Holland plays Telemachus, the son of Odysseus. Holland shared that working with Zendaya boosted his confidence, noting her bold and confident approach to acting. He expressed his admiration for her ability to create characters that feel authentic.

Zendaya, in turn, described working alongside her husband as "the dream." She recalled her excitement when Holland was first cast in the film and was even more delighted to join the ensemble herself. She told Extra that seeing him work in this context was a special experience. Holland also recounted how director Christopher Nolan inquired about his willingness to have Zendaya join the cast, an offer he enthusiastically supported.
