Tinker Bell, a beloved character from the Peter Pan franchise, will be temporarily leaving her Fantasyland home at Disneyland Park. The Pixie Hollow meet-and-greet location, where guests can typically interact with the fairy, is scheduled to close for refurbishment beginning August 4.
The Pixie Hollow space, situated in Fantasyland between the Matterhorn Bobsleds and Astro Orbiter, will be open for Tinker Bell's regular hours up to and including August 3. These hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Disneyland has not provided a specific reason for the closure or details regarding whether Tinker Bell will be available at another meet-and-greet location during this period. This is not the first time the character's space has undergone refurbishment; Pixie Hollow was previously closed for approximately nine months between late 2024 and 2025 for similar updates. During that prior refurbishment, the meet-and-greet area was expanded, and Tinker Bell's friends from the franchise, such as Vidia, also met with guests.
While unconfirmed by Disneyland Resort, speculation suggests the closure could be linked to the development of a live-action drama series titled "Tink" for Disney+, which is currently in production. Such updates might necessitate adjustments to the attraction.
Guests hoping to meet Tinker Bell after August 4 are advised to monitor the Disneyland Resort app or check with park cast members for the latest information on her potential whereabouts. The duration of the refurbishment and Tinker Bell's return to Pixie Hollow have not yet been announced.
