Tilda Swinton attended the Chanel Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week showcase on Tuesday, accompanied by her daughter, Honor Swinton Byrne. The mother-and-daughter duo made a rare joint appearance at the event held in Paris.

Swinton, 65, wore a red and black checked midi dress paired with beige heels. The dress featured a coordinated scarf that cinched her waist. She accessorized her outfit with a gold chain necklace adorned with chilli charms and round sunglasses. Her daughter, Honor Swinton Byrne, opted for a black bomber jacket and a matching zip-front pencil skirt, taking a seat on the front row next to her mother. Byrne complemented her ensemble with a simple black top, a Chanel clutch, and heeled stilettos.

The Chanel Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture Week runs from July 6 to July 9, featuring shows from numerous fashion houses.

Swinton has two children, Honor and her twin brother Xavier, with Scottish artist and playwright John Byrne. The couple were together for 14 years, separating in 2005. Xavier, unlike his twin sister, maintains a more private life away from the public eye. Swinton is currently in a relationship with Sandro Kopp, whom she met while filming "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe." Kopp is 17 years her junior.

Swinton has spoken in the past about maintaining a friendly relationship with Byrne's father, John. She has also stated that Kopp and Byrne are on good terms, describing the situation as "quite boring really" and "a very happy situation."
