Thousands of tattoo enthusiasts gathered at The Excel in London for the Big London Tattoo Show, a three-day convention organizers describe as a showcase for 450 international tattoo artists.
From across the country, visitors arrived with elaborate body art, with many baring skin to display intricate designs. Some fans added new pieces during the event, while others filled in blank spaces on arms, torsos and legs as artists worked.
One attendee was photographed having a design inked on a shoulder area and others were shown getting pieces on the back, chest and legs. Some photos depict unconventional post-inking care, including a performer with cling film over the scalp after a tattoo is drawn.
Now in its fourth year, the Big London Tattoo Show has welcomed seasoned artists from the UK, Ireland and beyond, with organizers describing it as a showcase of the incredible skills of 450 of the very best international tattoo artists.
The Excel venue hosts booths where artists sketch designs in front of clients, and fans linger to watch sessions, ask questions and compare styles, reflecting tattoo culture's growing mainstream presence in Britain.
The convention, which runs through the weekend, is one of Britain's largest tattoo conventions and underscores the role of ink artistry in contemporary culture.
