The View has begun its annual summer hiatus, meaning reruns will air in place of new episodes throughout August. The episodes broadcast this week originally aired in March and April of this year. This practice is common among daytime talk shows; "Live with Kelly and Mark" is also scheduled for its summer break later this month.
The show's regular hosts – Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin – are not appearing in new segments during this period. The reruns scheduled for the week of August 3rd include interviews with figures such as actress Lisa Kudrow, TV personality Sara Eisen, and actor Johnny Knoxville.
Specific rerun schedules released by ABC indicate the original air dates for the week's episodes. For example, the Monday, August 3rd broadcast featured Lisa Kudrow and originally aired on May 7, 2026. Tuesday's episode, with guest host Sara Eisen and featuring Deborah Roberts and Johnny Knoxville, originally aired on March 18, 2026.
A premiere date for the upcoming 30th season of "The View" has not yet been announced. Historically, new seasons of the show typically commence in the first week of September. "The View" airs on weekdays at 11 a.m. Eastern time on ABC.
