The animated sequel, ‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,’ is set to begin streaming on Peacock on Friday, July 30, 2026. The film will be available to subscribers of the streaming service.
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and written by Matthew Fogel, the movie is a follow-up to the 2023 release ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie.’ It also draws inspiration from the 2007 Nintendo video game of the same name.
Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Jack Black are returning to voice Mario, Peach, Luigi, and Bowser, respectively. The cast also includes Benny Safdie as Bowser Jr., Donald Glover as Yoshi, Brie Larson as Princess Rosalina, Glen Powell as Fox McCloud, and Issa Rae as the Honey Queen.
‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ has achieved box office success, grossing over $1 billion worldwide and becoming the second highest-grossing film of 2026 to date.
Peacock subscribers can access the film starting at approximately 3 a.m. Pacific Time or 6 a.m. Eastern Time on July 30. In addition to the movie, Peacock will offer bonus content, including behind-the-scenes featurettes and a look at Easter eggs from the film. The first movie, ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie,’ is also available on the platform.
