Prime Video will release the final episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty on Wednesday, Sept. 17, bringing the television adaptation of Jenny Han’s coming-of-age trilogy to a close. Season 3, Episode 11 is scheduled to stream at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, marking the end of the series after three seasons.
The third season comprises 11 episodes. The show’s first season consisted of seven episodes and the second season eight. Fans tuning in for the finale will pick up after Season 3, Episode 10, in which Conrad — played by Christopher Briney — is on his way to Paris to reunite with Belly, portrayed by Lola Tung. Other principal cast members include Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah, Sean Kaufman as Steven and Rain Spencer as Taylor.
The series is a Prime Video original; new episodes are available exclusively to Prime Video subscribers. Viewers who do not yet subscribe can sign up for a 30-day Amazon Prime free trial, which includes Prime Video. After the trial, Amazon Prime costs $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Amazon also offers a discounted Prime membership for 18- to 24-year-olds: after a six-month free trial, eligible members pay half the standard monthly price — $7.49 per month — for up to six years with age verification.
Season 3 adapts We’ll Always Have Summer, the third and final book in Han’s trilogy. When asked about the show’s scope ahead of the third season, Han told Entertainment Weekly, “Three books, three seasons. It feels right to me.” That alignment of source material and television seasons means there is no Season 4 planned.
Readers who have not read Han’s books but are curious about the novel’s conclusion are advised that the book series has an ending and epilogue; outlets that have summarized those events note that the novels conclude the arc of Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah. The Producers and showrunners have followed the trajectory of the trilogy across the three television seasons.
All three seasons of The Summer I Turned Pretty are now available on Prime Video. Viewers should check local time conversions for the Sept. 17 release to confirm the exact drop time in their time zone.
