The Rolling Stones celebrated the upcoming release of their new album, "Foreign Tongues," at a launch party held at St. Clement hotel in London on Wednesday night. The event was attended by band members Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, and Keith Richards, alongside guests including Georgia May Jagger, Emma Thynn Marchioness of Bath, and Lady Mary Charteris.

"Foreign Tongues," the band's 14-track album, is set for release on July 10. It marks less than three years since their previous Grammy Award-winning album, "Hackney Diamonds." The new record features a special appearance from the late Charlie Watts, captured during his final recording sessions before his passing in 2021. Additional contributions come from artists such as Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Andrew Watt, who previously produced "Hackney Diamonds," reunited with the band to produce "Foreign Tongues." The album was recorded in under a month at Metropolis Studios in West London.

Sir Mick, 82, spoke about the recording process, describing it as "very intense" and that the band had "14 great tracks and we went as fast as we could." He added, "I like the room there as it’s not too big so you can feel the passion in the room from everyone."

Keith Richards, 82, noted the album's continuity from "Hackney Diamonds" and the advantage of recording in London. "To me, it's all about the enjoyment of it. I'm blessed to be able to do this and long may it last," he said.

The album's cover art features a painting by artist Nathaniel Mary Quinn, creating a caricatured face that incorporates elements of Mick Jagger's lips and Keith Richards' headband, with eyes attributed to Ronnie Wood.

The lead single, "In The Stars," is scheduled for digital release on May 5, accompanied by the album's opening track, "Rough and Twisted." "Foreign Tongues" will be available in multiple formats, including CD, cassette, vinyl variants, and box sets.
