Production has officially commenced on a third movie featuring the cast of the British sitcom "The Inbetweeners." The news was confirmed with a teaser clip showing the four main actors, Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison, and Joe Thomas, reprising their roles as Will McKenzie, Jay Cartwright, Neil Sutherland, and Simon Cooper, respectively.

The teaser depicts the quartet sitting inside Simon's distinctive yellow 1996 Fiat Cinquecento Hawaii edition, which humorously fails to start. This marks the latest installment for the franchise, which originally aired on Channel 4 from 2008 to 2010, followed by two feature films released in 2011 and 2014, and a reunion special in 2019.

Creators Damon Beesley and Iain Morris are returning to write and direct the new film. They expressed their enthusiasm for reuniting with the cast, stating, "It's been super-fun hanging out with our friends again, and we're going to work hard every week to ensure there are no problemos making this new film for humans."

The film is being produced by Claire Jones, Patrick Holland for Banijay, and Mark Lesbirel for Fudge Park Productions. Executive producers include Beesley, Morris, Caroline Levy, Caroline Leddy, Phil Gilbert, Suzanne Knight, Tom Jordan, and Farhana Bhula.
