The science-fiction thriller "The End of Oak Street," directed by David Robert Mitchell, is now available for digital purchase and rental. The film, which premiered in theaters on August 14, became available on streaming platforms on September 15.
"The End of Oak Street" follows the Platt family as their suburban neighborhood is inexplicably transported from 1982 to a prehistoric era. Anne Hathaway stars as Denise Platt, the matriarch of the family, with Ewan McGregor as her husband, Greg Platt. This marks Hathaway's fourth of five major film releases in 2026. Other cast members include Maisy Stella and Christian Convery as the Platt children, Jordan Alexa Davis as Jeannette Christiansen, P. J. Byrne as Mel Jacobs, Emily Kuroda as Mrs. Valcourt, Anne Gee Byrd as Mrs. Huddleston, Hudson Meek as Kaden Tucker, and David Alexander Kaplan as Charles Tucker.
The film can be rented for $19.99 or purchased for $24.99 on Prime Video. While a Prime membership is not required for purchase, an Amazon account is necessary. Renters will have 30 days to start watching the movie and 48 hours of access once playback begins.
Physical media releases for "The End of Oak Street," including Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD formats, are scheduled for November 3. Preorders are currently available.
