Teresa Palmer, the Australian actress, 39, has welcomed her fifth child with husband Mark Webber. Their daughter Lotus Bloom Palmer arrived Friday morning after a home water birth, weighing 8 pounds 2 ounces (3.7 kilograms) and arriving at 5:40 a.m., Palmer wrote on Instagram.
Palmer and Webber already share Bodhi Rain, 11; Forest Sage, eight; Poet Lake, five; and Prairie Moon, three. Webber is also a father to his teenage son Isaac Love, whom he shares with ex SMILF actress Frankie Shaw. Palmer posted a series of snapshots showing the newborn peacefully resting and the siblings greeting their new sister, along with a black-and-white image capturing Palmer cradling the infant.
In the caption accompanying the photos, Palmer said the baby arrived “early yesterday morning with the sun after a beautiful home waterbirth” and revealed the name Lotus Bloom Palmer. She described the moment as part of a broader family milestone, noting, “Three girls, Three boys. Feels like we’re dreaming.” The post confirms the date as September 19 and the birth weight as 8 lb 2 oz (3.7 kg) with a 5:40 a.m. birth time.
Palmer paid tribute to her birth team, calling Libby Lamb, Julie Schiller (her fourth birth with Webber), and Jerusha Sutton, the birth photographer/doula, essential to the experience. “I felt so strong, at ease and empowered in your care and it led to us having the birth of our dreams,” she wrote.
Friends and followers quickly offered congratulations. Social media peers and fans, including Lindy Klim, Megan Gale, and AFL WAG Lauren Brant, joined in to celebrate the growing Blanchard-turned-creative family moment.
Webber and Palmer wed in 2013, while Palmer was pregnant with their first child. The couple has since built a family life that has remained in the public eye, with Palmer continuing to act in Australian and international productions while balancing motherhood with multiple children.
