Teresa Giudice pushed back Tuesday against reports that The Real Housewives of New Jersey has resumed filming without her, saying the stories are untrue and noting that no photos or official confirmation have been released.

"Obviously they’re not, because if they were filming, it would actually be out there. So it’s just speculation and people putting stories out there," Giudice, an original cast member, told Entertainment Tonight. "You really can’t believe anything you read unless Bravo is saying it." When asked for further details about the upcoming season, she said fans should "DM Andy Cohen."

The denial came after reports first published Sept. 4 that a test shoot in mid-August had grouped potential new cast members with veterans Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania and Melissa Gorga. Us Weekly cited a source who said producers were gauging how new women would work on camera with established cast members.

Representatives for Bravo confirmed to Page Six that no official casting decisions had been made and that production was in a casting phase. Page Six also reported that Giudice, along with Jackie Goldschneider and Jen Fessler, remained under consideration despite not being involved in the reported test shoot. A Page Six spokesperson said the outlet reached out to Bravo for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.

Danielle Cabral, a cast member, recently told Page Six at the VMAs red carpet that a return was imminent and described the forthcoming season as "a fresh start." Cabral said production was "putting the pieces of the puzzle together" and urged fans to "hang tight," adding that she expected the show to return to traditional holiday-focused episodes such as Christmas and Halloween.

The show’s future has been in flux since 2023, when Page Six reported that production was put "on pause" amid escalating tensions between Giudice and fellow cast member Melissa Gorga. The program resumed for Season 14, but the season’s reunion was reportedly shut down due to heated exchanges among the cast.

Bravo executive Andy Cohen confirmed in July 2024 that The Real Housewives of New Jersey would receive a reboot with "fresh faces," and in June said on The View that casting was active. "We are doing casting on ‘Jersey,’" Cohen said, adding that the series had been on "a deep pause" but that the network continued to view RHONJ as a valuable franchise.

Giudice has been a fixture on the series since its inception, appearing across 14 seasons. The network previously paused production in 2015 when Giudice served nearly a year in prison; production was halted while she was absent.

For now, Giudice’s public remarks underscore uncertainty around the timing and composition of the next season as Bravo continues casting and a number of veterans remain in contention. The network has not issued an official casting announcement.
