The popular "Biscuits with the Boss" ice cream flavor, created in collaboration with the Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso, is returning to Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams locations nationwide and online starting July 21. This marks the first time the flavor has been available in three years.

First released in 2023 to coincide with the show's third season, the cult-favorite pint quickly disappeared after the season concluded. Fans have since petitioned for its return. The flavor features a salted butter sweet cream ice cream base with chunks of shortbread cookie pieces, inspired by the homemade biscuits Ted Lasso delivers to AFC Richmond owner Rebecca Welton.

The packaging for the returning pints will once again feature Jeni's signature design inspired by Ted Lasso's iconic blue AFC Richmond zip-up jacket.

The flavor will be available at all Jeni's scoop shops nationwide and online beginning at noon ET on July 21. It will also be offered at select grocery retailers. Availability is limited and will continue only while supplies last.

Fans have expressed excitement on social media about the flavor's return, with some noting its early appearance in local grocery stores. When originally launched, "Biscuits with the Boss" received widespread praise for its sweet and salty profile, with many users describing it as tasting like butter cookies and perfectly capturing the spirit of the show.

Series Revival

The ice cream's comeback coincides with the upcoming fourth season of Ted Lasso, which is set to premiere on August 5. Many viewers had anticipated that the series would conclude after its third season in 2023. Jason Sudeikis is set to reprise his role as the titular soccer coach.
