Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce arrived hand-in-hand Monday evening for a soft-launch friends-and-family dinner at 1587 Prime, the Kansas City steakhouse the NFL star is opening with teammate Patrick Mahomes, according to reports.

The pair entered the downtown restaurant at about 6:15 p.m. and greeted guests before taking a private corner booth, TMZ reported. The visit came ahead of the eatery’s official opening next week.

The steakhouse’s name, 1587 Prime, blends Kelce’s and Mahomes’s jersey numbers. The menu contains several subtle references to the Chiefs stars’ careers and personal lives, including a drinks section labeled "The Players." Four cocktails are listed there, each tied to Mahomes, Kelce and their partners. One is named "The Alchemy," the title of a song on Swift’s 2024 album, The Tortured Poets Department; the drink’s ingredients are listed as a clarified citrus vodka blend, dry curacao, aronia berry, cranberry, strawberry, lime and oolong tea, finished with a theatrical blow-torch aroma.

According to the menu description, the drink’s presentation involves lighting something beneath the glass to produce a scent, a theatrical touch that has prompted observers to note an apparent echo of Swift’s 2010 single "Sparks Fly." It was not clear from reports who devised the cocktail or whether Swift had any input on its creation.

Kelce attended the dinner casually dressed in a green-striped shirt and cap, while reports said Swift wore a blue denim mid-thigh dress and wedges. No official photographs from the private event were released by the restaurant.

Alongside "The Alchemy," the other cocktails in the section include "Showtime," honoring Mahomes; "Big Yeti," a nickname for Kelce; and "Queen B," a nod to Brittany Mahomes. The menu and restaurant interiors also incorporate references to the players’ football careers and accolades, according to media reports.

Kelce and Mahomes announced plans for the steakhouse earlier this year. The soft-launch dinner is part of a traditional hospitality rollout that typically precedes a public opening, allowing staff to test service and menu items with invited guests. The restaurant is scheduled to open to the public next week, per promotional materials and media reports.
