Despite Taylor Swift appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show 19 times between 2008 and 2021, the pop star reportedly did not extend a wedding invitation to the talk show host. Swift recently married Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce in a ceremony attended by approximately 1,000 guests.
Swift's first appearance on DeGeneres's program was in November 2008, promoting her album "Fearless." Over the years, she participated in interviews, musical performances, and pre-recorded segments. A notable 2013 appearance saw Swift become emotional when DeGeneres commented on her public romantic life. Her final appearance was in 2021, a pre-taped segment due to ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
DeGeneres's team even created a YouTube montage of all of Swift's appearances on the show, titled "Every Taylor Swift Appearance on the ‘Ellen’ Show, Uninterrupted."
However, a source who previously worked on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" stated that the relationship between the two was always purely professional. "She was a regular and favorite guest, but it was always just a talk show relationship," the source told Page Six. "They did lots of fun stuff together, but there was never a friendship beyond a professional one."
