Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce transformed Madison Square Garden into an elaborate garden setting for their wedding festivities on Friday. The arena was decorated to resemble a forest, featuring trees and carpeting that mimicked grass. An area was also set aside for games and activities, concealed behind flowing curtains.
The decor primarily utilized dark green and pink hues, complemented by white circular couches, high-top tables, bars, and a prominent white staircase.
A cocktail hour was scheduled to take place on the sixth-floor concourse around 4 p.m. ET, preceding the ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on the arena floor. The reception was expected to continue until 2 a.m. Saturday.
Earlier in the week, on Thursday, Swift and Kelce hosted their rehearsal dinner at Madison Square Garden, with approximately 100 close friends and family in attendance. Photos from the event showed large green-and-peach floral arrangements being brought into the venue. Dusty rose curtains were used to cover windows, and the arena was lit with soft pink lights.
Notable attendees at the rehearsal dinner included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and Selena Gomez. Gomez is also expected to be a bridesmaid for Swift.
Sources indicated that Swift and Kelce had already exchanged vows in a private ceremony prior to the larger celebration. Rumors suggest these private nuptials may have taken place in Tennessee. Kelce proposed to Swift last year after two years of dating.
